Heal! Veterans and Their Service Dogs

“We’ve lost a lot of folks, family, loved ones and I sit there at night and I wonder why I can’t cry. Maybe it’s because I’ve seen too much of it or seen too much of it at one time. I don’t know. But I’ve had plenty of nights where I sat up just wondering what is wrong with me? But, like I say, would you rather have a night sittin’ there wondering what’s wrong and be alone? Or would you rather have a night wonderin’ what’s wrong and be cuddled next to this big fella? It makes things a lot more easier when you know you’re not by yourself.”
